On 5 June 2018, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) released a new report titled Single Use Plastics: A Roadmap for Sustainability.
The 127-page report sets out the latest thinking on how we can more sustainably manage and tackle single-use plastic pollution, and examines what governments, businesses and individuals have achieved and what are the best actions to implement. The report also looks at the impact that bans and levies on single-use plastics have had around the world and draws lessons for policymakers.
