Reloop has received an invitation to attend the second part of the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-5.2), taking place 5-14 August 2025, in Geneva.
As an accredited UN NGO, Reloop is well-positioned to contribute to these critical discussions on the International Legally Binding Instrument on Plastic Pollution.

INC 5.2 – Reloop’s Proposed Amendments to the Chair’s Text
Side-by-side review of the Chair’s draft text for the the fifth session of the UN Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-5.2).
In preparation, Reloop has collaborated with Dr. Dominic Hogg, a leading expert in environmental policy and former founder of Eunomia Research & Consulting, to conduct a side-by-side review of the Chair’s draft text. Our approach has been to refine and strengthen key Articles relevant to Reloop’s mission with minimal but impactful modifications. These proposals build on previous submissions and highlight critical links that ensure coherence in the final Convention.
We hope that our contributions will support the negotiations in Geneva and help shape a robust and effective global agreement on plastic pollution.
