Beverage sales by container type in Belarus
Like in most other countries, the non-refillable container dominates Belarus’ beverage market. Since 2000, non-refillables have seen their sales quadruple, to a point where they now have 81% of the market. During the same period, refillable beverage containers have seen their sales drop from 300 million units to less than 200 million (a 35% decrease). A significant amount of beer is still sold in refillables.
