Beverage sales by container type in Russia
In line with the trends observed in most other EU countries, Russia’s beverage market has seen a dramatic increase in the prevalence of non-refillable containers. From 2000 to 2015, non-refillable beverage sales have tripled, while refillable sales have dropped by 73%. Today (in 2015), 91% of all beverage sales in Russia are non-refillables, outselling refillables by more than 9 times.
