The European Plastics Circularity Coalition is calling on the European Commission to adopt robust equivalency criteria under Article 7 of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The position paper sets out how recycled content targets can support investment in European recycling, ensure a level playing field, and guarantee that recycled plastics counted towards PPWR targets meet standards equivalent to those required in the EU.
