Join us for Reloop’s final webinar of 2020, where a panel of international experts will explore some of the central issues around how to introduce a successful deposit system, over 3 sessions:

The session will be opened by Mr Mircea Fechet, Minister of Environment of the Republic of Romania, whose ministry recently finalised its own deposit return legislation, leading to a deposit system being implemented in 2022 and providing inspiration for many other European countries.

Our speakers will then discuss a wide range of important topics, including: 

How is the system operator established? Are the returned recyclables collected regularly? When does a selling point get back its handling fee? How to prevent fraud? How is the material prepared for recycling? What are the elements of the successful information campaigns?
