Presentations from Reloop’s webinar focusing on the theme of plastic circularity through DRS.
We are honoured to feature two distinguished keynote speakers: Marián Áč, representing the Slovakian system (spravcazaloh.sk), and Kjell Olav A. Maldum, from the renowned Norwegian DRS, Infinitum (infinitum.no). Both represent deposit system operators and serve as national Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs) for beverage container deposits.
As conversations surrounding the legally binding instrument on plastic pollution revolve around financing mechanisms such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and ambitious collection targets, our webinar aims to showcase these policy instruments that have already been successfully adopted, effectively combating the plastic challenge. Slovakia and Norway stand as prime examples, not only excelling in collecting plastic beverage packaging but also pioneering the path to local plastic circularity, closing the loop.
