Packaging EPR Schemes: Lessons from Europe – Webinar 2 (Poland and Romania)

Reloop, together with the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR), invite you to join us online on Tuesday, 12 March for the second webinar in a three (3) part series on the latest developments in managing packaging in Europe, and what we can learn from them in the lead up to public consultation on packaging reforms in Australia.

In this webinar, Reloop’s Director of Circular Economy Development, Anna Larsson, will provide an overview of EU level policy changes regarding packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and EU waste directives, including targets for recovery and recycled content, and in particular how these policy changes are influencing member state implementation and scheme design.

Anna will also look specifically at how Romania and Poland are managing these EU requirements including issues such as EPR scheme responsibilities and governance.

The webinar will be co-hosted by WMRR CEO, Gayle Sloan and Director of Reloop Pacific, Robert Kelman.
