The University of Tehran held “Deposit Return Scheme Day” in February 2025. The event brought together experts to explore how deposit return systems can tackle plastic pollution and boost recycling rates.

The event featured insights from global leaders, including Reloop CEO, Clarissa Morawski, who shared best practices on policy, producer responsibility, and consumer engagement as well as global trends and best practices for deposit systems.
