Reloop’s Director for France and Francophonie, Alexis Eisenberg, led a dynamic morning session at the REuseEconomy Expo, on May 27 2025, in Paris.
To establish reusable packaging as the norm across Retail and HORECA, all countries will need to develop the necessary level of washing and logistics infrastructure. However, there is very little data about what this infrastructure should look like, how much it will cost and who should pay for it.
This session looked at infrastructure modelling research.
Key themes explored in the session:
- Balancing commercial imperatives with environmental sustainability
- Key commercial & environmental factors that drive reuse category & SKU selection
- Challenges and opportunities in scaling reuse infrastructure
Speaker : Catherine Conway – Director & Reuse Lead, GoUnpackaged
