Around the world there are many initiatives and innovations focused on improving and expanding the packaging systems that do, or could, take advantage of reusable and refillable packaging.

Unnecessary packaging

Reusing and refilling packaging should be at the centre of a circular economy strategy.

We should be eliminating all unnecessary packaging, including items of single-use packaging that could be designed in a resuable or refillable format.

The carbon benefits to this approach are clear.
