The UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer addressed a letter from various businesses, public bodies, and NGOs, including Reloop, urging the prompt implementation of a deposit return scheme.
In his response, Keir Starmer stated that the Labour Party’s manifesto “was clear that we are committed to reducing waste by moving to a Circular Economy. I welcome your views and continued engagement with the Government regarding the merits of a UK-wide deposit return scheme.”
